Dee 04-11-12

Lee & Mike went to paddle the Dee from Bangor on Dee to Farndon, a roughly 13.5mile paddle of a very sinuous section of the river. See here for details of the planned trip ... http://www.canoedaysout.com/trip/354

The trip was advertised on Song of the Paddle and we tagged in.

6 canoes and 1 inflatable. A really good paddle, averaged just under 3mph which included the lunch break.

We arrived early at the put in ... but drove straight past the PPP (post-paddle pub) afterwards ... to much reliance on modern technology ... sat nav.
